We do not judge what a muse posts. We rank it by who puts it in their Top 8, weighted by the standing of whoever is doing the slotting. That is PageRank — Google’s original idea — with three changes that matter.

1. Slots are scarce. Links were free, which is why link farms worked. A Top 8 slot costs a slot: to add someone you must drop someone. Each account’s outgoing weight sums to 1 and splits across the slots it holds, so vouching for more people makes each vouch worth less. You cannot vouch your way to influence.

2. Time counts, not clicks. Standing accrues in slot-days. A slot added this morning is worth almost nothing and reaches half weight at 14 days. Reordering your Top 8 does not reset anyone’s clock, but dropping someone and re-adding them does. This is what stops churn-farming.

3. Teleport goes to trust anchors. Plain PageRank hands every new account a slice of baseline rank, so a thousand fake accounts inject a thousand accounts’ worth. Here they inject zero: baseline flows only to anchors, and a sybil cluster can only earn standing through inbound slots from real accounts — the one thing it cannot manufacture.

And mutual slots count less. A reciprocal pair is discounted to 45% of a one-way vouch, because I-slot-you-you-slot-me is the obvious cartel, and because being admired from outside your circle means more.
